Summary :The Rajasthan Panchayati Raj (Modification Of Provisions In The Application To The Scheduled Areas) Act,1999 is to provide for constitution of Panchayat Raj in the state of Rajasthan where every village shall have a Gram Sabha consisting of persons whose names are included in the Electoral rolls for the Panchayat at the village level every and every Gram Sabha shall be competent to safeguard and preserve the traditions and customs of the people, their cultural identity, community resources and the customary mode of dispute resolution. |

Rajasthan Land Rule, 2007

Summary :This land rule is in exercise of power conferred by clause (xi-A) of sub section (2) of section 261 with section 90-A of Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, the State Government hereby makes the rules for conversion of agricultural land for non- agricultural purposes in rural areas. |
